Mikhail Gulyaev, Head of Argus Russia

Mikhail Gulyaev is Head of Argus Russia in Moscow. Since he joined in 2006, the Moscow office has grown significantly, with further offices opened in Astana, Kazakhstan, and Kiev, Ukraine. The launch of several new reports has brought the number of publications produced in Moscow to 12.

Mikhail previously worked at Prime-Tass, a Russian business news agency, where he created an English-language wire service and established a business news joint venture with Dow Jones Newswires.

Mikhail has a journalism degree from Moscow State University and an MA in mass communication research from California State University.

Vyacheslav Mischenko, Business Development Director - CIS, Argus Russia

For the last decade Vyacheslav Mischenko has worked extensively in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), central and eastern Europe and the Baltic and Caspian regions producing a significant number of studies and projects related to energy and fuels markets.

Vyacheslav acted as project leader for a number of these studies, which covered subjects including energy economics and commodities prices, infrastructure and transportation.

In his current capacity at Argus, Vyacheslav leads business development activities in the CIS with a primary focus on gas and power markets.

Mikhail Perfilov, Business Development Director, Argus Russia

Mikhail Perfilov is a Business Development Director in Russia. He joined Argus when the Moscow office first opened its doors in November 1994.

Mikhail has reported on various markets and launched eleven Russian-language publications.

He pioneered research and conferences in Moscow, which have since developed into global businesses for Argus. Mikhail frequently comments on oil markets for Russian and international media.

In 2005–2007 Mikhail worked in the shipping industry organizing energy exports from Russia and other former Soviet Union countries.

Alexey Semenchuk, Commercial Director, Argus Russia

Alexey Semenchuk is Commercial Director of Argus Russia, based in Moscow. Since joining in 2011, he has been responsible for commercial strategy, structure and expanding sales in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Prior to joining Argus, Alexey worked at Microsoft leading the Enterprise and SMB accounts sales teams. In previous positions, he led sales and business development in large Russian IT companies.

Alexey has an engineering degree from the Minsk Polytechnic University.
