Houston, 24 April (Argus) — A bankruptcy court has approved the $9.39mn purchase of a shuttered central Pennsylvania ethanol plant.
Pennsylvania Grain Processing, a Zeeland Farm Services company, will purchase the 7,000 b/d Bionol anhydrous ammonia plant in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
Bionol filed for bankruptcy last July, more than a year after accusing Getty Petroleum Marketing — a subsidiary of Lukoil — of defaulting on a $1bn ethanol contract after two months of deliveries.
