Repsol La Coruna FCC unit stays shut
London, 22 October (Argus) – The 34,000 b/d gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracker at Repsol's 120,000 b/d La Coruna refinery in northwest Spain remains shut nearly two weeks after being hit by a fire.
“It's still shut,“ a Repsol spokesman said today. “There's no estimation yet on when it will start up again as the damage is still being evaluated.”
He added that the rest of refinery was unaffected by the 10 October fire, with all units running normally with the sole exception of the FCC.
