Gazpromneft upgrades Russia Omsk refinery
London, 26 October (Argus) — Russia's state-controlled Gazpromneft has finished installing a diesel hydrotreater at its 390,000 b/d Omsk refinery.
The 3mn t/yr hydrotreater will produce diesel that meets both EU and Russian standards when it comes on line next year. The 16bn rouble ($500mn) Omsk upgrade will also allow the refinery to produce EU and Russian standard gasoline.
The Omsk Refinery processed nearly 16mn t of crude in the first nine months of this year, up by 2.4pc compared with the same period last year.
