Argus launches Argus Direct Alerts as part of online service

London, 6 November 2013

Global energy and commodity price and news reporting agency Argus has added a new feature to its premium online service that gives customers immediate access to relevant news, analysis and prices.

Argus Direct Alerts are accessible through desktop, laptop or iPhone and can be configured by users to suit their individual requirements. The Alerts ensure that users are kept up-to-date with market developments as they happen. Alerts are delivered through a pop-up message box on a computer or an iPhone app as well as by email.

The Alerts are part of Argus’ premium online service, which also includes an enhanced website where users can access fundamental information, download historical data and create bespoke charts. An iPad application also enables customers to view their reports and charts when out of the office.

Argus Media chairman and chief executive Adrian Binks said: “We are  pleased to announce the launch of Argus Direct Alerts. Our clients need to access immediate and relevant key market information, wherever they are and our new service offers maximum flexibility and usability. We have worked closely with our clients to make sure that our service addresses their needs and exceeds their expectations.”
