16:30  - 17:30 Workshop B- Asphalt Additives and Proper Reduction of Hydrogen Sulfide Levels: Asphalt Additives and Proper Reduction of Hydrogen Sulfide Levels: H2S in asphalt is a constant challenge, and just as much of an issue is the asset degradation associated with this. This presentation will discuss chemical additives that are designed to remove hydrogen sulfide from asphalt and reduce hazardous levels of hydrogen sulfide which can lead to safety and environmental issues. Additionally, explore new technology for the treatment of asphalt to reduce exposure to hydrogen sulfide throughout the asphalt supply chain, from the refinery to the paving process.
