She leads a global cross-functional team including design, supplier quality, VAVE engineering and manufacturing engineers as well as plant quality, purchasing and customer teams who define strategy for the purchases of Neodymium and ferrite magnets. Suzanne has managed the Neodymium magnet team for seven of the seventeen years she has worked for Bose, so has experienced the extremes of market fluctuations, supply issues and technology innovations over that period of time. Suzanne has also worked for other large corporations such as Gillette and Black and Decker prior to her experience at Bose Corporation.

Chris Terry is the head of the US Metals & Mining Team at Deutsche Bank. Chris spent 5 years in Sydney with DB before moving to the U.S. in mid 2015. Chris first began to look at the lithium battery supply chain in 2012 and continues to work on Supply/Demand for lithium as well as equities related to the thematic. Prior to DB, Chris worked as a process engineer providing professional services to the resources and energy sectors. Currently as the President of Data Decisions, a consultancy company specializing in market research, and he exclusively represents Alliance LLC in sales and marketing. Bob was also an instructor in mathematics at Purdue University North Central.

Alex King is the Director of the Critical Materials Institute – one of DOE’s four Energy Innovation Hubs. He holds degrees from the Universities of Sheffield and Oxford. He was a postdoc at Oxford and then M.I.T. before joining the faculty at Stony Brook University, where he also served as the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies. He has served as the Head of the School of Materials Engineering at Purdue and the Director of DOE’s Ames Laboratory.

King is a Fellow of the Institute of Mining Minerals and Materials; ASM International; and the Materials Research Society. He was a Visiting Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science in 1996 and a US Department of State Jefferson Science Fellow for 2005-06. Alex was the President of the Materials Research Society for 2002, Chair of the University Materials Council of North America for 2006-07, Co-chair of the Gordon Conference on Physical Metallurgy for 2006, and Chair of the APS Interest Group on Energy Research and Applications for 2010.

Mr. Izatt is President and CEO of IBC Advanced Technologies, Inc. IBC specializes in the development, manufacturing and commercialization of proprietary Molecular Recognition Technology ("MRT") products and processes, with industrial clients around the world. He serves on the Advisory Boards of Lthium Energi Exploration Inc. and Ucore Rare Metals Inc. Mr. Izatt has also served on the Board of Directors of the International Precious Metals Institute ("IPMI") and received the IPMI Jun-ichiro Tanaka Distinguished Achievement Award in 2008 for his entrepreneurial contributions to the precious metals industry. 

Prior to IBC, he was a management consultant at PA Consulting Services, Inc. and Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte Consulting), served as a charter member of the Advisory Board of the Pennsylvania State University Technology and Business Development Center in Great Valley, PA, and worked as an engineer (technology transfer and ventures) at Bethlehem Steel Corporation. A Registered Member of The Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration and a member of IPMI and the American Chemical Society, Mr. Izatt has authored or co-authored over 100 publications and presentations. Mr. Izatt holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering Practice (1984), an M.S. in Technology & Policy (1984), both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A. in Chemistry (High Honors, University Scholar, 1981) from Brigham Young University.

George Bauk is an experienced resources executive with over 25 year’s experience in the sector. He joined Northern Minerals in 2010 and has been instrumental in transforming the company from a rare earth discoverer through to its current status as the developer of the Browns Range Heavy Rare Earths Project. The 3-year Pilot Plant Project is under construction in the East Kimberley region of WA, with first mixed rare earth carbonate shipment in the September quarter. Under George’s stewardship, the company has rapidly transitioned from a greenfields heavy rare earth explorer to now being poised to become the next global producer of high value Dysprosium outside of China. Mr Bauk is also Non-Exeutive Chairman of Lithium Australia, Non-Execuitve Director – BlackEarth Minerals and Vice President – Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA.

Prior to this, he served as Director (Marketing) in Indian Rare Earths Ltd. for about 5 years. Shri Singh is holding a Master’s degree in Technology with specialisation in Industrial Design and Marketing Management. He has rich and varied experience spanning over more than 3 decades in the field of Strategic Corporate Planning, Sales & Marketing, Project Management, Production Planning & Control, Quality Control & Quality Management System, Human Resource Management, Skill Development & Industrial Training. 

He is a qualified Lead assessor of NABL as per ISO/IEC/17025 and Lead auditor of ISO 9001:2008 quality management system. He has the credential of association in various projects under World Bank, OPEC and Asian Development Bank including prestigious projects of Central Govt. and UNIDO fellowship. He is recipient of several Awards including Public Sector Enterprises Excellence Award 2016 for corporate governance. He is credited with about 25 presentations in international mineral and other conferences. Mr. Singh is the President of the Rare Earths Association of India, Chairman of Processed Mineral Panel of CAPEXIL, Member of the Executive Board, Standing Committee on Public Sector (SCOPE) for 2017-19 and member of Managing Committee of Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) and other prestigious industrial associations.

Larry W. Reaugh is President and Chief Executive Officer of American Manganese Inc. from February 1998 to present. Mr. Reaugh has fifty-three years’ experience in the mining industry and for the past thirty-five years he has been the CEO & President of several exploration, development, production companies and 3 years in internet and technology companies listed on the TSX, TSX Venture and NSDAQ exchanges. Several of his companies have made significant discoveries, three of which (gold) went on to be producing mines. Through his career, Mr. Reaugh has raised in excess of $300 million for junior resource mining companies. Part of this is the $25 million dollars raised for AMY over the past eighteen (18) years.

He has been an active member of the International Society for Industrial Ecology and Institute for Scrap Recycling Industries since 2011. In 2012 he became the co-inventor for methods to recycle NdFeB magnets.

Jack Lifton is a co-founding Principal of Technology Metals Research, LLC, and is a consultant, author, and lecturer on the market fundamentals of the ‘technology metals’, a term he coined in 2007 to describe those strategic and almost all rare metals whose electronic properties make our technological society possible. These include the rare earths, the lithium ion battery metals, such as lithium and cobalt, and most of the scarcely produced rare metals of importance to electronics. Originally educated as a physical chemist, he first specialized in high-temperature metallurgy and the ultrapurifaction of materials for use in solid state electronics and catalysis as a researcher.

He ultimately became a manufacturing and marketing executive in the production and recycling of engineered materials. After serving as the CEO of two OEM automotive suppliers he retired and then became a metal trader specializing in the field of technology metals. With 56+ years in the industry, he advises OEMs and global institutional investment firms on natural resource issues that impact proposed business models or high-volume manufacturing plans for the consumer and military markets. He presently does due diligence consulting for institutional investors probing opportunities in which availability of rare and technology metals is a deterministic factor to assess the probability of commercial success in metals’ mining, refining, fabricating and marketing ventures. He is a Senior Fellow at Institute for Analysis of Global Security, member numerous professional societies, and frequent speaker at professional and industry events on the markets for technology metals and materials and on the use of new and newly applied technologies to the extraction, refining, and fabrication of rare metals and materials.

Relevant experience includes Global Manager, Environmental Affairs for Amazon Web Services, where he established a global recycling network of Nd-Fe-B magnets from hard drives.

Claudio is the Principal Engineer and inventor behind the SonoAsh concept, the Research & Development and all ash beneficiation patent procurement. He holds degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and is an Engineers Canada Fellow. 

He is the recipient of awards including UBC 2016 Faculty of Applied Science Dean’s Medal of Distinction, the 2014 Engineers Canada Meritorious Achievement Award for Professional Service and 2018 UBC Alumni Builders Award. He is lead and co-author of numerous patents applied internationally.  Over more than 25 years, Claudio has worked throughout North America, Mexico and Albania on technology commercialization projects in major resource sectors including power, pulp & paper, ethanol, wastewater treatment, contaminated soil remediation, heavy oil upgrading & tailings management, nanochemistry, metals extraction & recovery.

Mark Seddon is Senior Manager (Metals), Consulting Services, based in London. He is responsible for Argus’ rare earths and tungsten monthly outlooks and for developing metals consulting services. With over 25 years’ experience in the commodities industry as a trader, researcher, consultant and company executive, Mark has a wealth of experience in the metals sector.

After gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in European Business Administration, as well as a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Européennes de Management, Mark spent three years as a sugar trader with Louis Dreyfus, a leading global soft commodities company. The next 20 years were spent at Roskill Information Services, a leader in international metals and minerals research. In January 2001, Mark was appointed a director at Roskill and in December 2010 became the Managing Director of the company. Prior to joining Argus, he ran his own metals consulting company, Tungsten Market Research.

Nigel Tunna has been involved with the metals industry since 1979 when he joined Cominco as a metals trader. Since that time he worked with Sassoon Metals and Chemicals and China Industrial Resources before setting up his own trading company, Rushmore. His experience covers base metals, ferro-alloys, minor metals and rare earths.

In 1999 he started Metal-Pages to provide business intelligence to the metals industry. In 2014 he joined Argus Media following their acquisition of Metal-Pages. He is a former chairman of the Minor Metals Trade Association.
