Anas Pradipta is involved with the Energy Market since he started working for Special Task Force for Upstream Oil And Gas Business Activities Republic of Indonesia (SKK Migas) 7 years ago. SKK Migas is an institution that acts on behalf of the government to supervise and manage the oil and gas upstream activities in Indonesia. From 2009 - 2013, he was involved in negotiating and monitoring of gas sales contract, as well as evaluating Indonesia’s gas market. Since 2013, he is responsible to conducting LNG Market research, LNG Price comparison, and reviewing current & future LNG Demand in Indonesia. His challenge in this position is that he is involved with marketing activities for new Indonesia’s LNG Project in which he has the responsibility to ensure not only the Indonesia’s domestic LNG needs are fulfilled but also Indonesia’s economic projection can be achieved.

His working experience has shaped his passion in LNG Market tremendously. While finishing his master program in ESCP Europe (London and Paris Campus) in 2015, Anas started a research in a LNG Market, particularly in European and Far East Asia LNG Market. Anas also experienced to be part of Energy Charter Secretariat where he was responsible on analyzing Indonesia position on International Energy Charter and Energy Charter Treaty as well as analyzing Indonesia Energy Efficiency.

Trevor leads Energy Aspects' research into the generation fuels commodities of carbon, coal and natural gas. Trevor has been analysing these commodities for more than 15 years, recently having headed up Barclays Capital's research into this complex for the last five years. Prior to that, Trevor held senior energy analytical roles with Point Carbon, Global Insight and PwC. Trevor holds a Ph.D in economics from the University of Strathclyde. Trevor is a leading analyst in these markets and is regularly featured in media and as a speaker at industry conferences.

Chikako Ishiguro is Senior Researcher and Analyst at Osaka Gas.  As a member of the Energy Resources and International Business Unit of the company, Chikako heads up energy market research and analysis activities of the company where she has worked for over 10 years. Throughout her career, Ishiguro has pursued in-depth global market analysis in key energy sectors, particularly in LNG.  Previously, she was Head of Market Research Division of Osaka Gas International Transport, a subsidiary of Osaka Gas.  She is a co-author of OIES papers; Pricing and Demand for LNG in China (2006), A New Paradigm for Natural Gas Pricing in Asia: A Perspective on Market (2009), and A Realistic Perspective on Japan’s LNG Demand after Fukushima (2012).

Álvaro Tupiassú, Natural Gas and LNG Trading - General Manager, Petrobras

Álvaro Tupiassú is currently the Gas & Power - Marketing and Trading Executive Manager at Petrobras. Since 2004, he has worked at Petrobras where he also held technical and managerial positions in the areas of thermal operation, supply and logistics of natural gas, electricity and gas trade and energy marketing. Previously he worked with logistics at Vale do Rio Doce and various energy efficiency improvement projects of buildings and installations and maintenance of renewable energy systems for small scale. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Power Systems at the Federal University of Pará.

Melissa Mathias
 Melissa Mathias, Regulatory Expert, ANP

As the Regulatory Expert at ANP, Melissa coordinates the activities of authorizations and registrations in the Superintendence of Commercialization and Movement of the Agency.

Economist, graduated Cum Laude at the Institute of Economics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a master's degree in Industrial Economics from the same institution and a PhD in Energy Planning by the Coordination of Research and Post-Graduation in Engineering from UFRJ. Melissa has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, having joined the ANP in 2001, acting in the economic regulation of natural gas transportation activity, particularly in matters related to access to gas pipelines.

 In 2006, she joined Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras), in the Executive Management of Marketing and Commercialization of Natural Gas and Energy. She returned to the ANP in 2008, returning to work in the Superintendence of Commercialization and Movement, focusing on the transportation of natural gas.

Author of several national and international articles on the transportation of natural gas, having represented the ANP in several events related to Natural Gas, in Brazil and abroad. She also wrote the book "The Formation of the Global Natural Gas Industry", which presents the growth in the commercial flows of LNG and points to the formation of an internationalized natural gas industry.

Gonzalo de Arteaga is a Senior Analyst at Fearnleys, responsible for research and market analytics for LNG. Fearnleys is one of the most prominent ship-broking houses in the market, supporting charterers and owners to pursue cutting-edge shipping solutions and innovations in a rapidly developing market. Prior to joining Fearnleys, Gonzalo spent four years at Statoil, where he worked as a Senior Gas Market Analyst. Gonzalo is an economist with a Masters in Economics with specialization in energy at NHH, Bergen and a Master in International Management at NHH, Bergen and HEC, Paris.
David Small

Senator, Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago

With more than twenty-five years of energy policy and strategic experience, Senator Small is currently plays a key role in national debates on energy matters in Trinidad and Tobago.  Senator Small has previously served in several senior positions in the Government of Trinidad and Tobago including at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries where he was responsible for providing strategic policy advice to the Government and also led strategic communications efforts for the Government with key international energy organizations and multilateral organizations, such as the Inter-American Development Bank, International Monetary Fund and the World BankSenator Small also served for almost a decade on the Board of the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago and also Phoenix Park Gas Processors. Senator Small attended the College of Petroleum Studies in Oxford (now Oxford-Princeton) and Middlesex University, London, earning a post-graduate diploma in natural gas economics and an MBA degree, respectively.

Giovani Machado is an economist by Federal Fluminense University/UFF and he holds a MSc and a DSc degrees in Energy Planning by the Graduate School of Engineering of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – COPPE/UFRJ. He has worked for several institutions in the energy area: US Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory – LBNL, as a visiting scholar; National Petroleum Agency of Brazil – ANP, as coordinator of strategic studies; Energy Planning Program at COPPE/UFRJ, as visiting professor in energy economics; MBA in Energy Business at Getulio Vargas Foundation/FGV, as professor and coordinator. He has also collaborated to the International Atomic Energy Agency – IAEA as an ad hoc international expert in energy sustainable development and energy modelling issues. In Dec, 2006, he joined the Energy Research Office – EPE, holding various management positions within the Directory of Oil, Gas and Biofuels. Currently, he is the Head of the Natural Gas and Biofuels department in EPE. Also, he is author of several publications on energy issues and reviewer for international energy journals.

Edgard Ramirez

Edgard Ramirez has 30 year in the oil & gas industry and 14 years of experience as an international energy consultant, largely focusing on Latin America. Based in Lima, he has focused on natural gas as its core business, developing a deep expertise in supply-demand analysis, Economic regulation of prices and tariffs, and in the development of investment project and engineering, in the natural gas and oil chain: production, transport and distribution of natural gas by pipeline, by ship, by trucks as LNG, and the commercialization of natural gas the wholesale market, secondary market and commercialization to the end user such as generator, mines or independent industry.

As general director of Latin Energy and as Independent Consultant, Mr. Ramirez has participated as a Senior Consultant in Natural gas, in the development and implementation of energy projects in the public and private sector, in Peru as well as in upstream and downstream projects in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Dominic Republic and Chile. In the year 2014, he served as President of the commission of PROINVERSION that awarded the Southern Gas Pipeline concession.

After to start up to Latin Energy, Mr. Ramirez was external technical advisor for PROINVERSIÓN, during eight years, has participated in the development and implementation of energy projects, developing all the technical issues, tariff calculation as well as design and valuation the Capital expenditure an operational costs for different natural gas transport and distribution and for LPG and LNG projects. Mr. Ramirez participated in the Feasibility study for storage and regasification of LNG in Pampa Melchorita Peru, as part of security of supply. Currently is developing a Small Scale LNG project in northern Peru for an American company and participates in the identification of others LNG investment projects in Peru and other countries in the region.

Ieda Gomes is an independent consultant and director of the UK based consultancy Energix Strategy Ltd. Ieda has over 30 years of extensive international experience in the oil, gas and energy industry, which includes gas and power project development, energy market fundamentals, energy strategy, gas and LNG sales and marketing, energy pricing, regulation, contract negotiation, asset management, re-structuring, privatization and set up of new ventures.

Ieda was previously a Group Leader with BP plc, with a host of international assignments spanning over nearly 14 years. She was also the CEO of the Sao Paulo Gas Distribution Company (Comgas), the largest gas distribution company in Brazil. She is currently a non-executive director with French and US companies, a senior visiting fellow at the Oxford Institute of Energy Studies and a senior adviser with the Brazilian think tank FGV Energia. She is an active contributor with the International Gas Union (IGU)

Sylvie D'Apote is Founder and Managing Partner of PRYSMA E&T CONSULTORES, a consulting company based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Ms. D’Apote has 20 years of experience as an international energy consultant, largely focusing on Latin America. Based in Brazil since 2003, she has focused on natural gas, developing a deep expertise in supply-demand analysis, regulatory issues, market integration, cross-border gas and LNG trade, and gas- power convergence.

After founding PRYSMA in 2003, Ms. D’Apote has joined forces with international and regional consulting groups, acting as Director for Gas in the Southern Cone for IHS-CERA (2005-2009) and Managing Partner of the Oil & Gas Practice of GAS ENERGY (2009-2013). Prior to moving to Brazil, Ms. D’Apote headed the Latin American Program at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris (1997-2003), was senior economist for WEFA Energy, in London, UK (1995-97) and researcher at the OCDE in Paris (1991-94).

Sylvie D’Apote is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences, both in Brazil and abroad, on various subjects related to the Brazilian and South America oil and gas industry. She is the author of a book published by the International Energy Agency “South American Gas: Daring to Tap the Bounty”, as well as author and co-author of various articles and books’ chapters.

Hal Miller is the Chairman of Galway Group and has over 40 years of experience spanning a broad spectrum of technical, strategic planning, and financial areas within the energy industry.
Mr. Miller founded the predecessor to Galway Group in 1995. For his first 10 years with Galway he provided energy clients with M&A investment banking services. In the early to mid 2000’s he began providing energy clients with a wide array of techno-commercial and financial advisory services, including in the LNG to gas to power sector. Prior to founding Galway, Mr. Miller held a variety of engineering and operating positions with Phillips Petroleum and Colorado Interstate Gas. He also held senior marketing, planning, and business development positions with Transco Energy and The Williams Companies. Following these ventures, Mr. Miller was responsible for the startup and development of Transfuel Resources, an indirect subsidiary of Mitsubishi
Mr. Miller holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Gregory Pilkiton

Mr. Pilkinton joined LNG Limited and the Magnolia LNG project in July 2014 as Commercial Director, responsible for the formation and completion of the lump sum turnkey EPC Contract Agreement with the selected KSJV EPC contractor. More recently, Mr. Pilkinton has transitioned to a full-time sales role to help ensure the Magnolia LNG capacity is sold.  He has 18 years of experience in the industry, starting his career with Boeing, Inc. as an acoustics specialist for the International Space Station (ISS). He joined leading international LNG EPC contractor KBR in 2008, serving as a key member of the Business Development Oversight team, before advancing to the role of Senior Manager – Project Commercial Management. Mr. Pilkinton held the position of Commercial Manager for the JGC-KBR contractor EPC joint venture on the Inpex Ichthys LNG project in Darwin, Australia where he was responsible for the cost, schedule and change control / risk management for this facility.

Mr. Pilkinton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He is certified as a Project Management Professional and has published several papers on noise control associated with his role supporting the ISS.
