Peter Caddy is Executive Director at Argus. He is responsible for the strategic direction of business development and for global market reporting. Peter has worked at Argus for over 25 years in different parts of the world, including heading Argus' Asian and US operations. He has been intensively involved in oil market pricing during this period and also launched Argus non-oil (gas, power and coal) services at Argus between 1995 and 2001. Peter has a PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London and an MA from Cambridge University.

Mike Muller, Vice-President, Crude Trading and Supply, Shell Trading

Michael Muller joined Shell 27 years ago after graduating from Cambridge University. He has served on the Global Leadership Team of Shell’s trading division since 1999. Better known to colleagues as Mike, he is the VP Crude Trading managing a business that handles more than 8 million barrels of crude per day. In this role, he oversees a global team of trading, supply and risk management professionals spread across 10 offices including major oil trading hubs such as Houston and London. In prior roles he managed the Atlantic Basin Crude Oil Trading and Supply business, Shell’s North Sea, Futures, Swaps and Options Trading business, and led Shell’s Global Chemical Feedstock Trading Business. In the 1990s he managed Shell’s Trading and Supply team in Melbourne and was then posted to Singapore to establish a cross-business development presence in South East Asia. Michael is based in London. He is married and has a daughter.
Liz Bossley

Liz Bossley is Chief Executive Consilience Energy Advisory Group (CEAG), which she established in 1999, with 40 years of experience in trading, risk management, marketing and contract negotiations. She started her career as a Trader for British National Oil and subsequently became Head of Trading, Risk Management and Shipping for Enterprise Oil. 

She has personally been involved in bringing more than 30 new crude grades to market worldwide — from the North Sea to the US Gulf Coast, from Latin America to Asia-Pacific, from the Mediterranean to east and west Africa. Liz has acted as an expert witness in more than 35 trading disputes and was the joint author of a report to the G20 on oil price reporting agencies and has a particular interest in the structure of price benchmarks.

Liz is the principal author of The Hole in the Barrel; Trading Natural Gas in the UK; Bossley's Guide to Energy Conversions; BFO: The Future Market; Project Finance Using the Forward Oil Curve; Climate Change and Emissions Trading: What Every Business Needs to Know; Emissions Trading and the City of London; Delivering Copenhagen; Trading Crude Oil: the Consilience Guide; and Trading Refined Oil Products: the Consilience Guide.
Odunuga Gladys Folashade
Oduna Gladys Folashade
, Head of Planning, Department of Petroleum, Nigeria

Oduna Gladys Folashade is the Head of the Planning Division of the Department of Petroleum Resources, the regulator of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. Started her 34-year career in the petroleum sector in 1983 as an Economist in the economics, research and intelligence department of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC). In 1984 she moved to the audit department of NNPC where she worked for 4 years.
With the creation of the Petroleum Inspectorate, she was called back again to the economics and planning role. In 2000 she was appointed the Head of Retail Outlets and Marketing where she served until 2005.
Between 2006 and 2008 she served as the Head of Import and Export Operations of the Downstream Division of the Department of Petroleum Resources In 2009 she was appointed the Operations Controller of Ibadan field office. In 2013 she was transferred to the headquarters as the Head of Terminal Operations of the Department of Petroleum Resources. She commenced her new role as the Head of Planning Division in June 2016.

James Foster

James Foster, Crude Oil Trading Manager, BP

James has worked for BP for 23 years in supply and trading. Until 2014, when he joined the crude team, James focused on products, specifically middle distillates. He traded in London and Chicago for eight years, before moving into trading management in 2002, where he ran the global middle distillates team. 

David Fyfe

David Fyfe, Chief Economist, Gunvor Group

David has spent 30 years analysing the oil and energy markets. In his present role as Chief Economist at Gunvor Group, he oversees research, providing advice for the Chief Executive, senior management and traders. He articulates Gunvor's view on market and strategic trends for industrial and financial partners, as well as to outside audiences. David was previously Editor of the IEA's influential Oil Market Report and head of the IEA's Oil Markets Division, based in Paris. Prior to that, he spent a combined 17 years with major energy industry consultants PEL and EMC, advising clients in the oil, gas, coal and power sectors, as well as investors, financial institutions and governments. He started his career with a group of upstream service providers to North Sea oil and gas producers. He has a BSc in Geology and Environmental Sciences, and an MSc in Energy Policy and Economics from Imperial College, University of London.
James Gooder

James Gooder, Vice-President Crude, Argus

James is responsible for crude oil business development at Argus. He has been with the company since 2004 and has performed several editorial roles, including editing European electricity and emissions market publications. From 2007-10, he was the editor of the daily Argus Crude report, managing a global team of reporters and developing new crude price assessments. Prior to joining Argus, James worked as a teacher, speechwriter and journalist. 
He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American literature from Manchester University and a master’s degree in international journalism from City University, London.
Owen Johnson, CME Group
Owain Johnson
, Managing Director, Energy Research and Product Development, CME Group

Owain Johnson is Managing Director of Energy Research and Product Development at CME Group. His team ensures the integrity of CME Group's existing energy futures benchmarks, which include WTI, Henry Hub, DME Oman, RBOB and NYH ULSD. They also develop new risk management products for the global energy industry as well as undertaking original research. 
Within CME Group, Johnson previously served as Managing Director of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange and Executive Director of CME Group Singapore. 
Johnson is a member of the International Association for Energy Economics, The Worshipful Company of Fuellers and is the author of “The Price Reporters: A Guide to PRAs and Commodity Benchmarks.” Johnson earned his master’s degree from Cambridge University.

Vladimir Langhamer

, Trading Manager, OMV Refining and Marketing

Vladimir Langhamer is an experienced downstream oil professional who is currently Trading Manager of OMV’s trading office in London. Vladimir has broad experience across crude and products trading and sales, crude and feedstock optimisation, risk management and operations.
Starting his career in 2006 with OMV, Vladimir contributed to the development of a new LP-based crude scheduling solution, as well as the development of a new sales channels for excess production of light and heavy products. He also fulfilled the role of acting Managing Director of OMV’s trading arm in Switzerland. After returning to Vienna, Vladimir managed a team tasked with optimising crude and feedstock supply for OMV’s refineries in Austria and Germany, connected inventory and price risk management, origination and emissions hedging.

Emmanuelle is a Team Leader and Senior Crude Oil Trader at Azeri state-owned oil company Socar’s Geneva-based trading unit Socar Trading. Emmanuelle joined the company in 2010, mainly marketing Azeri light and other Mediterranean sweet crudes. Prior to joining Socar, Emmanuelle worked as a Crude Trader with Stasco from 2003 until 2010, after 14 years at Shell in technical and economical/supply chain roles in the refining sector. She holds a chemical engineering degree from France’s Ecole Nationale Superieure des Industries Chimiques de Nancy and a masters degree in quality assurance from Strasbourg University.

Hamid is the Manging Director, NIOC International Affairs (London) Limited since 2015. Hamid has a Master Degree in International Affairs from Florida State University (FSU) – USA. He joined the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) - International Affairs, on 1985 (more than 32 years ago), where he served in different departments mainly Petroleum Products Marketing/ Operation and the Crude Oil Marketing Dept.
Working with the Giant highly reputable NIOC was a great opportunity for Hamid, He obtained a comprehensive experience in the international oil related matters; such as , marketing/ negotiating and finalizing different types of petroleum products(import & export) and crude oil contracts, diversifications, (all aspects of finance, exchange contracts, pre-finance, swaps, processing agreements etc.), operational/ logistical matters, administration and implementation of the contracts, legal issues etc.
Before coming to London , he was the East District Manager(NIOC Crude Oil marketing) for 9 years where it was also a challenging atmosphere for him especially during the sanctions against Iran.

Alexey Rybnikov, President, SPIMEX

Alexey Rybnikov has been President of SPIMEX (St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange) since September 2011. He was previously Chief Executive of Russian stock exchange RSX in 2009–2011 and prior to that was Chief Executive of the MICEX Stock Exchange and Senior Vice-President of MICEX for six years. His earlier career was spent in senior positions at two Russia-based banks, Evrofinance and JP Morgan Bank International, and at NDC. 

Rybnikov is a member of the Presidential Commission on the fuel and energy sector development and environmental safety. He graduated in economics from the Moscow State University of International Affairs and earned a PhD from the Institute of US and Canada Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Antonio Ruggiero is Senior Vice-President, for trading and shipping oil and products at Eni Trading & Shipping, which has offices in London, Houston, Singapore, Moscow, Milan, Rome and Brussels. Eni Trading & Shipping is part of the Eni Group, which operates in 73 counties. Antonio has more than 25 years of experience in the oil industry and has spent all of his career with Eni.
Marco Schiavetti

, Chief Executive Officer, Saras Trading

Marco Schiavetti joined Italian refiner Saras in 1993 after a brief period at Italian manufacturer Olivetti. After holding a number of finance and trading positions he became Corporate Finance Manager in 2003, and 2006-2008 held the position of Investor Relations Manager. Marco was appointed Supply and Trading Director at the end of 2008, with responsibilities throughout the entire supply chain, including production planning, crude oil and raw materials purchases, primary and secondary logistics, international oil products sales, wholesale activities in Italy and commodity risk management. Marco has a degree in management engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Tom Wales, Political Adviser, Asia and Americas, BP

Tom Wales, PhD is Group Political Adviser in BP’s government and political affairs section. Responsible for Asia and the Americas, he advises on “above ground” country and political risk, reporting to the head of government and political affairs, and the group management team. Previously, he spent 10 years at Oxford Analytica, an Oxford-based global political risk management firm, where he ran the analysis team.
