The inaugural West Africa Fertilizer Forum - organised by the West African Fertilizer Association (WAFA) and Argus was held on 9-10 May in Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire. and brought together over 200 people from 38 countries of which 22 were African countries.
Many thanks to H E. Mamadou Sangafowa Coulibaly, Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development, Côte d'Ivoire who closed the conference on the afternoon on the 10th of May. as well as our sponsors - Toguna, OCP Africa, Olam Fertilisers and SECO as well as our supporting partners who contributed towards the success of the conference.
The 2018 conference will bring together all links in the fertilizer supply chain in this region, as well as global producers, technology developers and investors to identify the action needed to increase accessibility to fertilizer, expand the market and boost farmers’ productivity.
