The company has a capacity to produce 3.5mn cylinders a year, of which 75pc are exported to Africa. Hangzhou Tianlong has been exporting cylinders for 21 years. It currently ships 3kg, 5kg, 6kg, 12.5kg and 15kg cylinders to markets in Africa, western Europe and Latin America.
The company also has a factory in Lagos, Nigeria, and is building another facility in Kenya.
