Argus Caspian and Central Asian Petroleum Markets 2014 conference brought together the key market players
The 2nd International Argus Caspian and Central Asian Petroleum Markets 2014 conference was held on 5th-6th February in Dubai, UAE, and brought together key members of the crude and petroleum products markets from the Caspian Central Asian regions.
Nearly 200 representatives of 85 oil and trade companies as well as shippers from 20 countries of the world took part in the event. Attendees included:

This year the event was conducted with the support of Kazakhstan Tax Committee and welcomed Milio as the key sponsor of the conference.
Day 1 included analysis of fuel supplies to Afghanistan, oil market development and refining in Afghanistan and the development of rail transit through Azerbaijan and Georgia. there was an examination of opportunities in the Mongolian oil industry, the market situation in Central Asia and export flows from Turkmenistan and refinery upgrades in Kazakhstan.
The discussions on the second day of the conference were devoted to transport infrastructure development in the Caspian region and transfer legislation in Kazakhstan.
Participants discussed the issue of crude exports out of Kazakhstan in 2013, crude and oil products supplies through the Caspian Sea as well as transport infrastructure expansion.
Delegates also took part in a transfer pricing workshop on February 6th which centered on how to further improve cooperation between Kazakhstan state agencies, domestic exporters and Argus (which has been the the official information source for Kazakhstan authorities) within the framework of transfer pricing law.
