The tenth anniversary of Argus LPG Moscow brought together key market players
Argus held its tenth Argus LPG Moscow conference on 23-24 April 2015. The tenth anniversary of the event saw the conference confirm its status as the largest industry event for the LPG markets in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe. The conference was attended by over 250 delegates representing 136 companies.
Conference participants included traders, producers, importers and exporters of LPG and representatives of transport and logistics companies as well as from terminal operators in 33 countries. Russia’s largest LPG producer and exporter, Sibur Holding, continued its association with Argus LPG Moscow by fulfilling its traditional role as the event’s general partner.
The conference was also supported by leading Russian independent LPG producer BerezkaGas, the trading division of diversified petrochemical holding Impexneftekhim, Romanian company Vixon Gas and Russian firm Komus.
During the first day of the conference, participants discussed the strategic issues facing the global LPG market, the latest industry trends and development prospects in the coming years. Attention focused specifically on the supply and demand balance in the LPG market, the development of the LPG market in Eastern and Central Europe, the prospects for LPG exports from CIS countries and the situation in the Turkish LPG market.
A round-table was held at the end of the first day at which experts and market participants discussed the crucial issues of pricing and logistics.
The 2nd day of the conference was devoted to topical issues, in particular the development of LPG transport and storage infrastructure in Russia and Europe as well as anti-monopoly market regulation and the prospects for LPG exchange trading.
