Ultra-low sulphur diesel (ULSD) is the most actively traded diesel grade in the US because of specific federal regulations. The US is a net exporter of ULSD because of similar sulphur regulations in Europe and South America, making the New York market a key ULSD price discovery point.

Argus New York Harbor ULSD Buckeye assessments are calculated using a market-appropriate methodology based on every spot trade available over the entire trading day. Prices are represented as the low and high of deals transacted.
Argus New York Harbor ULSD Buckeye prices are assessed as differentials to the CME Nymex settlement price. Argus’ cash prices use the CME Nymex ULSD (HO) settlement value as its cash basis. The prices are published daily in the Argus US Products market report and data feed.
