Headline:  Petroneft expecting first oil at Russia’s Lineynoye Printer friendly

London, 29 July (Argus) — UK-listed Petroneft Resources' Lineynoye field in the Tomsk region of Russia's west Siberia is on schedule to start producing first oil towards the end of next month.

The construction of production facilities is almost complete and drilling of the fifth and sixth of the planned nine production wells at the field has been finished ahead of schedule, the company said today.

The Lineynoye field is one of four that Petroneft operates at licence 61, which holds proven and probable reserves of 70mn bl.
