- Clean refers to shipping that is chartered for the shipment of gasoline, naphtha and middle distillates
- fob is the abbreviation for “free on board”. This term refers to the seller paying for transport costs of goods to the point of shipment and loading. The buyer is responsible for freighting, insuring, unloading and transferring costs of the goods to the chosen destination.
- cif is the abbreviation for “cost insurance and freight”. The seller secures and pays freight and insurance costs to bring the goods to the port of destination for the buyer.
