Since joining global beer and beverage giant Carlsberg Group in 2002, Adam has served in various energy, environment, safety, security and sustainability management roles. In 2014 he joined the corporate supply chain team in Switzerland to drive the company’s global energy, water and wastewater agenda, including strategy development and implementation, energy and water management systems, efficiency programmes, utility best practice and standards in breweries and beverage plants. He was educated in environmental sciences and environmental and energy management in Warsaw, Poland, and Delft, the Netherlands.

Tiago Andrade is the founder and Director of Wood Pellet Services (WPS), a brokerage, agency and consultancy firm with a large portfolio of wood pellet supply under management, as well as co-founder and Director of 3nergy (3N), a sister firm focused on chips and logs for the energy, MDF and pulp markets. His early career in Portuguese multinationals gave him access to knowledge and contacts, particularly in the renewable sector. In 2004, Tiago identified the opportunity to create a wood pellet industry in Portugal, replicating this work in many other regions worldwide. Tiago holds a BBM honours degree in management and business administration, and an MBA in business information from the Catholic University of Portugal in Porto.
