He has served as an operations manager, a styrene plant manager and a refinery manager. His accomplishments include managing the world’s largest combined styrene and polystyrene complex for Total Styrenics, and later overseeing major improvement projects for clients including a refining steam cracker project in Thailand and Brazil, and a refinery in eastern Europe.

Luis Landeros serves as the president of the board for the LPGas Distributors Association (ADG) in Mexico. He has more than 25 years of experience with retail and consumer distribution companies, serving in project leadership, sales management, sales development, consulting and marketing management, and chief executive positions. The ADG serves to promote and advocate common interest of the four biggest LPG distribution groups of Mexico, concentrating 250 companies with 45 percent of the total market share, nationwide. The ADG actively participated in the elaboration of the Secondary Laws for the Mexican Energy Reform with the Secretariat of Energy, including its Hydrocarbon Regulation, Administrative Rulings and Official LPGas Standards.

Ross Allen is responsible for business development, management and market relationships for Americas LPG services, using two decades’ commodities and financial reporting experience to help our customers manage risk. Before his current role, Allen covered commodities and financial markets for Argus in Washington DC as bureau chief and senior editor. Prior to Argus, Allen covered financial markets and commodities in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a financial wire service and began his career working as a paramedic in Connecticut before turning his hand to journalism. He holds a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and is an enthusiastic Mountaineer fan and Beechcraft Bonanza owner and pilot.

Melanie is currently in her fourteenth year at the National Energy Board. Her work has focused on model building and analysis, including projecting Canadian natural gas, oil, and natural gas liquids (NGL) production for the Energy Future reports and other NEB and international projects. Models she has led building include the NGL production model, oil sands production model, natural gas production model and the conventional, tight, and shale oil production model. Her work also includes natural gas supply cost analysis, and maintaining production statistics and well data, and responding to external questions. Before the Board Melanie worked at the Canadian Energy Research Institute for three years. Her work there also focused on model building, that included a North American natural gas pipeline flows optimization model, a levelized unit electricity cost model, and the oil sands supply cost and production projection models used in the 2003 CERI Oil Sands report. Melanie has bachelor degrees in Statistics and Economics and a Master degree in Economics, all from the University of Calgary. And, her children are fourth-generation Calgarians.

Dinara Millington joined CERI in February 2004 and assumed her current role as Vice President, Research in April 2014. Dinara is responsible for managing the Institute's research agenda including leading the oil sands projects, assisting in the production of market research, economic analysis and economic modeling. Ms. Millington has participated in various projects involving oil sands, crude oil, natural gas, LNG, and renewable energy. Dinara is also Editor-in-Chief of the Institute's Quarterly Reports Reports on crude oil and natural gas and provides economic commentary for CBC, Global TV, The Globe and Mail, the BNN and other local, national and international news outlets. Dinara graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Calgary, specializing in Econometrics and Time-series Analysis. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with minor in Finance. Ms. Millington spent some time studying at Masarykov University in Brno, Czech Republic, as well as worked and lived abroad in Kazakhstan.
