Can Toydemir was born in Istanbul in 1967. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1988 and went on to take a master’s in automotive engineering from the same institution. He also has an MBA from Istanbul University. He joined in Ipragaz’s Technical Department in 1992 as a Project Engineer. He was involved in the design and construction of LPG filling stations, LPG storage and sea terminals. He then became Technical Manager with responsibility for autogas stations, LPG and LNG bulkgas customer installation and after-sales service. He is currently Operations Director at SHV Energy Turkey, where he is responsible for LPG supply, logistics, terminals and plant infrastructure, customer installation and all relevant operational processes.

Joe is also responsible for the provision of regular client services for ethylene and polymers, the monthly olefins outlook forecast and the long-term ethylene and derivatives supply, demand and trade balance.
