Magnus became president of Yara’s newly established clean ammonia unit in February, having previously served as president of Yara North America, where he was responsible for the company’s sales, supply chain and production activities in the region, including its ammonia plants in Freeport and Trinidad. Before this, Magnus was chief financial officer of Yara’s Industrial business and director of corporate strategy. He joined Yara after five years at Boston Consulting Group, before which he served in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Magnus holds a BSc in nautical engineering and an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics.

Rosalinde van der Vlies is the director of the Clean Planet Directorate in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. Before her appointment as director, van der Vlies was head of co-ordination in the Inter-institutional Relations Unit and acting head of the Communication & Citizens Unit. In the past, she has held positions at the Directorate-General Environment, Directorate-General Justice and Home Affairs and in the private office of Janez Potočnik, the European commissioner for the environment. Before joining the European Commission, she worked as a competition lawyer in an international law firm in Brussels and was a part-time teacher at the Catholic University in Brussels.

Shigeru Muraki has been Representative Director at the Clean Fuel Ammonia Association (formerly Green Ammonia Consortium) since July 2019 and had been an Executive Advisor to Tokyo Gas since 2015.
Shigeru joined Tokyo Gas in 1972 after graduating from the applied chemistry department of the University of Tokyo. He was appointed Chief Representative in New York from 1989 to 1994. In 1996-2004, He worked for the gas resources department. He was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2004. In 2007, he moved to the energy solution division where he oversaw commercial and industrial marketing and power businesses. He was appointed Executive Vice-President in 2010 and Vice-Chairman in 2014.
Shigeru Muraki was also appointed the Regional Vice-Chair of Asia-Pacific and South Asia of the World Energy Council in May 2016 and was Program Director of Energy Carriers for SIP (Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program) from June 2014 to March 2019.
He was awarded the Medal of Honor with Blue Ribbon in May 2017.

Rob started his career at Yara in product and technology development for fertilisers. Over the next 20 years, he held several management positions at Yara related to ammonia production and use in the Netherlands, Qatar, Norway and Australia. Rob brought forward ammonia energy as General Manager at Yara Pilbara in Western Australia. He executed the clean ammonia energy agenda as Vice-President of Technology Scouting and Vice-President of Ammonia Energy and Shipping Fuel at Yara HQ, ultimately contributing to the establishment of the Yara Clean Ammonia business unit. Rob is now Vice-President of Ammonia Opportunities at Saga Pure, facilitating clean ammonia energy investments, and board member with Horisont Energi. Since August 2021 Rob has been the elected president of the Ammonia Energy Association.
