Hassan is the planning head at SATORP, where he leads the optimization process for one of the most complex refineries in the world. Hassan drives the production planning activities by producing monthly business and operational plans. Hassan joined SATORP in 2009 and has served in various technical and operational phases; such as Engineering, Start Up, and stabilization. Recently, Hassan had a major contribution in preparation of the first gasoline cargo of US RBOB to the US market. Hassan holds a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Mineral and a Master's Degree in refining and petrochemical from IFP school in Paris.

He has published several papers on the topic and continues to actively develop projects using these high value solutions. Robert started his career over 30 years ago with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr Saleh Ahmed Rabba Al Shehhi is the Vice President of Carbon & Port for Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA). He has done his graduation in Geology and Chemistry from Al Ain University in UAE. Saleh Rabba has 23 years of expertise in Anode technology, the management of Anode Manufacturing Plant and Port Operations, as well as expansion projects. During this tenure, he achieved remarkable career progression starting from graduate trainee to his current role. Continual productivity improvement without sacrificing quality has been his key driver and contributed to the success journey of EGA Jebel Ali Carbon Plant. He has demonstrated his leadership through a significant increase in plant productivity over the last decade, through successful upgrades and operation excellence at Carbon & Port to support expansions and capacity creep in the smelter. He has co-authored more than ten technical papers. Currently a Senior Management member of EGA and alumni of IMD Switzerland, Saleh has dynamically supported the growth of the EGA smelter’s production capacity to above 2.5 million tonnes.

He was previously the Director for Energy and Strategic Sourcing at LafargeHolcim Group for operations in the Middle East, Africa, India and central Europe. For the past seven years George was based in Egypt, facing the challenges of the fuel crisis for the cement industry. He played a leadership role in the fuel-mix evolution for LafargeHolcim operations in Egypt and the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. George was previously with the Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) and Pearson Education in various capacities in Africa and the Middle East. George has served as chairperson for various industrial associations and government advisory committees on energy optimisation strategies in several countries in the region. George has a degree in chemistry, is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the UK, and has MBA in international business management.
