The ARGUS Germany VTP (Trading Hub Europe) price assessments
Argus produces forward gas price assessments for Germany’s new virtual trading point (VTP) operated by Trading Hub Europe. This market is currently scheduled to launch on 1 October 2021 and by no later than 1 April 2022.
This will be the result of the merger between Germany’s existing market areas, Gaspool and NCG.
Argus has launched price assessments prior to the merger to provide additional transparency and to ease the transition for market participants trading at the new hub.

Argus publishes season and quarter prices delivering from the fourth quarter of 2021. As the market merger approaches, Argus will begin to publish month contracts. After the merger, balance-of-month, weekend and day-ahead contracts will be also be assessed.
Germany VTP forward curves extend as far as existing Gaspool and NCG forward curves.
