<article><p class="lead">Bolivian state-run oil and natural gas producer YPFB sold 16.9mn m³/d of natural gas to Brazil in January-November.</p><p>The company's revenue increased by 23pc from the same period in the previous year.</p><p>Sales to Brazil in the period amounted to $1.43bn, boosted by thermal generation in the country's dry season and interruptible contracts with Brazilian companies. The contracts are with gas distributor CDGN, power company Delta, power trading company Tradener, power generator Ambar Energia and Mato Grosso state's gas distribution company MTGas. Bolivia also expects to sign interruptible contracts with Parana state distributor Compagas, fertilizer producer Unigel and New Fortress Energy (NFE).</p><p>YPFB also sold 10.8mn m³/d of natural gas to Argentina's state-owned company Ieasa during the same period, amounting to $1.59bn.</p><p>Bolivia demanded 12.7mn m³/d of natural gas in the eleven-month period, amounting to $169.9mn in YPFB sales.</p><p class="bylines">By Rebecca Gompertz</p></article>
