Colin completed his PhD in Soil Microbial Ecology in 2009. As a Research Scientist at Colorado State University, he published dozens of peer-reviewed publications that focused on elucidating microbial mediated processes that enhance plant growth. Colin left his academic position at the university in March 2015 to launch Growcentia, a company in the Ag-Tech sector that develops microbial biostimulants to sustainably increase plant yield, as well as natural biocontrol products to prevent pests. Colin’s academic research includes long-term multidisciplinary studies in which the biological, chemical and physical characteristics of soils were measured to elucidate soil microbial and plant responses to climate variability. His more recent research efforts focused on plant-microbial relationships within the rhizosphere zone to identify mechanisms that may influence soil microbial taxonomic and functional differences among plant species.

John is an experienced product and market development expert with a passion for farming that has lasted throughout his 34-year career in agriculture. As the Director of Product Innovation and Market Development he is applying his experience in the fluid fertilizer industry to identify market needs and introduce new BioLine technology solutions. Over his career John has acquired extensive knowledge of plant physiology, biochemistry, and nutrient interactions. Five years later, Doug sold his share of the company to his business partner and joined Brandt Consolidated. Brandt is a family-owned company that focuses on supplying premier products to growers and ag retailers. Pierre is now a consultant in the agro-industry unit at the African Development Bank in Ivory Coast.
