Rosanety Barrios, Degree in Finance by the Universidad Tecnológica de México, Master in Finance by the National Autonomous University of México and Master in Economic Regulation of Net Systems by the Barcelona University, she is graduate from IPADE´S diplomat as Professional Independent Board Member. Rosanety developed herself in the Mexican financial sector, working for 15 years as a stock market analyst. From 2000 to 2013, she was head of the Natural Gas and LPG Transport Department at the Energy Regulatory Commission. In 2013, she joined the Ministry of Energy as General Director of Electricity Generation and Transmission, one year later, she became the first Head of the Industrial Transformation Policies Unit. From this position, she was member of the board of Cenagas (Mexico´s ISO for natural gas) and PMI Internacional. Rosanety collaborated actively in the conformation of current Mexico´s legal framework for the Energy Sector. She was a key person for the creation of Mexico´s natural gas and oil products markets, and their storage policy. Since December 2018, Rosanety is an independent analyst on energy matters. She´s international speaker on energy issues, member of the board of “Voz Experta”, a very high-profile women´s collective group that promotes the visibility of women in every energy forum and member of the International Women´s Forum. Ron has 40 years’ experience in the fuel business and opened the US’ first retail E85 fuelling site in 1992. Jorge has 10 years’ experience in the renewable sector and has led Mexico’s two largest ethanol plants. He is currently collaborating with scientists and bio-fuel experts over the roll-out of E10 nationwide and the lifting of restrictions on blending E10 in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. Jorge has authored several scientific and legal papers on fuel ethanol, addressing distribution and handling, economic advantages, and environmental, health and social impacts, and he is contributing to efforts to develop Mexico’s infrastructure for handling cleaner fuels. Edward Avilés is the Executive Director of the Asociacion de Combustibles Eficientes de Latinoamerica (ACELA), a non-profit trade association that promotes clean transportation fuels in Latin America. Prior to ACELA, Edward worked for six years at chemical company LyondellBasell and was the primary Legal support for the Latin America businesses. He has extensive knowledge of the petrochemical industry in Latin America and was an integral part of the LyondellBasell teams that formed ACELA. Louise Burke leads the development of the aviation fuels business at Argus Media. She has worked closely on a global level supporting airline and supplier initiatives, and has specialized in providing key support on value integration in the supply chain. As Global Head of the aviation business development team, she works across all regional teams in Asia, Europe and the Americas to support the needs of the market. Louise began her professional career in the energy industry, working for major oil corporations — Mobil Oil Canada, and Alberta Energy Company, in Canada; and Petroleos De Venezuela in New York. She performed both short and long-term analyses of energy prices and market trends. She then worked in the financial energy futures and options industry as Vice-President for the New York Mercantile Exchange (now CME group) during its rapid growth in the 1990s. She supervised major energy and metals futures and options contract launches and supported the efforts of the World Bank and the US Agency for International Development to develop free markets and hedging programs in commodity-sensitive countries.
