Ernesto Anguiano Sánchez is the EVP Commercial with Ferromex and received his bachelor in business administration with more than 20 years of experience in different industries as Logistics, Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Financial. Mr Anguiano is currently responsible for the Oil&Gas, Chemicals & Fertilizers areas in Grupo Mexico Transportes, Ferromex, and was recently appointed as Commercial Director of IMEX (Terminals and last-mile business unit). For the last three years in Grupo Mexico Transportes has closed several long-term contracts with the main companies from the Chemical industry. In 2017, to seize the opportunities from the Energy Reform, he signed one of the main contracts to supply refined products from Veracruz to inland terminals as Mexico City Region and Puebla. In addition, Mr Anguiano has been an active member of the Grupo Mexico initiative to expand its oil-by-rail business by building at least three storage terminals in Mexico. Grupo Mexico Transportes, Ferromex, operates rail lines in Mexico, Texas and Florida, and is the mayor railroad in Mexico with a 66% of the market share of rail cargo.

Rosanety developed herself in the Mexican financial sector, working for 15 years as a stock market analyst. From 2000 to 2013, she was head of the Natural Gas and LPG Transport Department at the Energy Regulatory Commission. In 2013, she joined the Ministry of Energy as General Director of Electricity Generation and Transmission, one year later, she became the first Head of the Industrial Transformation Policies Unit. From this position, she was member of the board of Cenagas (Mexico´s ISO for natural gas) and PMI Internacional. Rosanety collaborated actively in the conformation of current Mexico´s legal framework for the Energy Sector. She was a key person for the creation of Mexico´s natural gas and oil products markets, and their storage policy. Since December 2018, Rosanety is an independent analyst on energy matters. She´s international speaker on energy issues, member of the board of “Voz Experta”, a very high-profile women´s collective group that promotes the visibility of women in every energy forum and member of the International Women´s Forum. Also, she is an editorial board member for energy issues of “Reforma” a national newspaper and columnist at Energy & Commerce and Energía Hoy (national magazines). En ese sentido, la revista Petróleo & Energía, dirigida a la comunidad de la energía en México distinguió a Roberto Díaz de León, al integrarlo a su listado de los 100 líderes más influyentes del sector. Otro logro de su gestión, y que tuvo gran alcance en los medios, fue su iniciativa de un código de ética de siete puntos del sector gasolinero, que fue signado por las principales empresas, en presencia de las máximas autoridades. En la Cumbre México, edición 55 del Congreso de la Comisión Latinoamericana de Empresarios de Combustibles (CLAEC) celebrada en Octubre del 2018, designó presidente pro témpore de la CLAEC a Roberto Díaz de León, cargo que ocupo hasta la edición 46 del Congreso Celebrado en Bolivia éste año.

Roel joined DeWitt & Company Inc. in 2005 as an Olefins Analyst supporting the Ethylene, Propylene, and Butadiene services. Mr. Salazar joined the Fuels and Octane team in 2011 and has steadily built key client relationships with US MTBE consumers, producers and traders while helping them analyze the global MTBE and Octane markets. Prior to her assignments in the UK, Vanessa worked as a political and financial correspondent for Reuters (Brasilia, Sao Paulo), as a financial reporter for Brazil’s leading news agency Agencia Estado and as a press relations officer with energy engineering company Asea Brown Boveri, also based in Sao Paulo. A graduate from Brazil’s Casper Libero University with a BA in social communications, Vanessa has a master’s degree in international journalism from London’s City University. In addition to Portuguese and English, she is fluent in Spanish.

Louise Burke leads the development of the aviation fuels business at Argus Media. She has worked closely on a global level supporting airline and supplier initiatives, and has specialized in providing key support on value integration in the supply chain. As Global Head of the aviation business development team, she works across all regional teams in Asia, Europe and the Americas to support the needs of the market. Louise began her professional career in the energy industry, working for major oil corporations — Mobil Oil Canada, and Alberta Energy Company, in Canada; and Petroleos De Venezuela in New York. She performed both short and long-term analyses of energy prices and market trends. She then worked in the financial energy futures and options industry as Vice-President for the New York Mercantile Exchange (now CME group) during its rapid growth in the 1990s. She supervised major energy and metals futures and options contract launches and supported the efforts of the World Bank and the US Agency for International Development to develop free markets and hedging programs in commodity-sensitive countries. Louise has a degree in economics from the University of Alberta and an MBA from New York University. She is President of the Board of Directors of The Energy Forum, a non-profit organization designed to increase understanding of energy issues, and is a member of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE). She is also affiliated with the SIPA energy program at Columbia University, New York as an instructor in the area of petroleum markets trading.
