Career of 23 years in Total group, mainly in refining, David started as Process control engineer for about 3 years followed by a position as operation Superintendent for about 4 years in Normandy Refinery (France). After 1 year in USA - Houston tx, was appointed as Project manager to implement SAP in 12 European refineries. Next position was Maintenance manager at Feyzin refining and petrochemicals (France), followed by a business position in Donges refinery (France). In 2009 as general manager of SARA refinery (JV Total, Ruby, Exxon) in Martinique French Caribbean island. Back to Normandy refinery as GM for about 3 years. Moved to Saudi Arabia July 2015.

Libyan Corrosion Engineering Society. He is now leading a three years research project at the Takreer
Research Centre on the sulfur speciation and corrosivity indexing of refinery feed stocks. He is also
very active in the field of asset integrity, and energy management, and has presented several papers

Abdulaziz was nominated by Kuwait to join Opec as a Fiscal Policies Analyst (diplomatic status) for a five-year term in 2000. He rejoined the KPC market research department in 2005. He transferred to the US as the Head of KPC’s Houston office in November 2008. Abdulaziz relocated to KPC’s head office in the crude oil department in 2014 before moving to the market research department. His studies include a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana, a postgraduate diploma in petroleum exploration and production economics from the College of Petroleum and Energy, Oxford, UK and a Masters in petroleum policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK. Ms. Ruhotas has over 25 years of experience in Engineering, Safety, Operations and Commercial Management of Bulk Liquid Storage Terminals. She has Board level experience in the terminals sector including expertise in all aspects of Terminal Operations for a full range of products as well as in-depth engineering design, construction and project management of all aspects of chemical, LPG and petroleum storage systems. Ms. Ruhotas also has extensive experience working in China, forming, developing and managing joint ventures, working with Chinese shareholders, customers and government authorities and suppliers. Currently based in Singapore, Ellen provides advisory services all stakeholders in the bulk liquid storage industry.
Previously, Ms. Ruhotas was the Regional Director for Stolthaven Terminals in Asia-Pacific and General Manager Stolthaven China (Stolt Nielsen group). Prior to Stolt, Ms. Ruhotas was General Manager with Pacific Terminals Australia and China, Operations Manager with Email Limited (Petroleum Division) and Engineering Services Manager with BP Australia Limited. Ms. Ruhotas received a Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical/Industrial from the University of New South Wales, graduating with First Class Honours. His trajectory running up to this position encompasses several senior commodity trade finance roles which amass to more than 10 years of experience spread across two major continents Europe (Paris & Geneva) and Africa (Johannesburg). The relationships he built working for BNP Paribas and Société Générale enabled the coming together of the first majors (Société Générale and ING) to explore blockchain in the Easy Trade Connect project he initiated in 2016. The project realised two blockchain dedicated PoCs and provided for the foundation on which not only komgo® exists but the energy based trading platform VAKT as well. Mr. Alishahpour Joined the Vitol / VTTI Group in May 2007 after the acquisition of the Fujairah Refinery Company Limited where he was appointed as the General Manager of the VTTI Fujairah Terminal. He is also Managing Vitol’s Fujairah Refining Limited (FRL) Fzc, an 80,000 BPD Refining facility, and he is the Head of VTTI Middle East RDC (Regional Development Centre).
Since joining Vitol / VTTI in 2007 Mr. Alishahpour has held several leadership positions and served as board and steering committee member of several businesses and projects in the UAE. Prior to joining Vitol / VTTI, Mr. Alishahpour worked for the Fujairah Refinery Company Limited in Fujairah and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), in Iran.
