Mike Pompeo is the first American to have served as both Secretary of State and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). During his time in office, the world witnessed the emergence of the US as a massive energy exporter, and a realignment of US foreign policy to put America first. He also oversaw a shift in Washington’s relations with China, including the implementation of a wide-ranging trade deal. As Director of the CIA, Mike delivered intelligence to inform the decision making of America's senior leaders. Four times, Kansas elected Mike to represent their 4th Congressional District as a member of the US House of Representatives. In Congress, he served on the Energy and Commerce Committee, the House Intelligence Committee, and the Special Committee that investigated the death of four Americans during the attack on two US government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012. As a teenager, Mike enrolled at the West Point Military Academy. He graduated first in his class in 1986 and then served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain. He also served with the 2nd Squadron, 7th Cavalry in the Fourth Infantry Division. After leaving active duty, Mike graduated from Harvard Law School, where he edited the Harvard Law Review. Mike later returned to his mother's family roots in Kansas and founded Thayer Aerospace, which manufactures components for commercial and military aircraft, serving as Chief Executive for over half a decade. He then became President of Sentry International, an oil field equipment and service company.

Ms. Hollub is also a member of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative and the World Economic Forum, where she serves on the stewardship board for the Platform for Shaping the Future of Energy and Materials. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Ms. Hollub holds a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Engineering. She was inducted into the University of Alabama College of Engineering 2016 class of Distinguished Engineering Fellows.

Ryan M. Lance has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ConocoPhillips, the world’s largest independent exploration and production company, since 2012. Ryan is a petroleum engineer with 36 years of oil and natural gas industry experience in senior management and technical positions with ConocoPhillips, predecessor Phillips Petroleum and various divisions of ARCO. His past ConocoPhillips executive assignment included responsibility for international exploration and production, regional responsibility at various times for Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North America, and responsibility for technology, major projects, downstream strategy and specialty functions. Externally, Ryan is a board member of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and trustee of both the George H.W. Bush Library Foundation and PGA Reach. He is also an advocate for charities benefiting youth through his service on the board of Spindletop International and the Montana Tech Foundation, and on the advisory council of the University of Texas Energy Institute. He is a former chairman of the American Petroleum Institute currently serving on its Executive Committee, and currently chairs the National Petroleum Council’s Agenda Committee. From 2010 to 2015, he served as president and Chief Executive of PacifiCorp Energy, a multi-state regulated electric power generating company and a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy. In 2007-10, Micheal was president of Kern River Gas Transmission Company, also a Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiary. In this role, he provided overall leadership for this major interstate natural gas pipeline company. Micheal began his career with Williams and spent 14 years with the company in its gas pipeline business, first as an Operations Engineer in Hutchinson, Kansas, then as a Construction Engineer and Chief Inspector in Utah during the construction of the Kern River Gas Transmission System. He was a field operations supervisor in Wyoming for two years and spent another three years as Manager of Project Management. Dunn graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Oklahoma.

He has spent his entire thirty-five year career in the energy industry, primarily as a management consultant, and also as an operating executive. Prior to joining Phillips 66, Horace was Managing Director of Muse Stancil & Co, a boutique, global consulting firm, where he was focused on downstream strategy and provided a broad array of merger, acquisition, and divestiture advisory services. He provided industry analysis and business planning support for operating companies, project and technology developers, equity investors, and financial institutions. Horace spent five years as part of the start up executive team for Longhorn Pipeline and was previously employed as a downstream industry consultant at Wright Killen & Co. and The Pace Consultants (Now Jacobs Consultancy). He spent the early years of his career as a chemical engineer involved in process design and advanced process control applications. Keavey has more than 27 years of experience in the futures and options industry, including 15 years as a trader of physical and financial Energy products across the natural gas and crude oil and refined product markets. Prior to joining CME Group in 2013, Keavey was a Portfolio Manager at Graham Capital Management focusing on energy markets. He served as Managing Director and Head of Energy Trading at Scotia Capital from 2008-2011, and has held various commodity trading positions for Enron Corporation, Societe Generale and Lehman Brothers. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.

Euan Craik is Head of Oil and served on the board of directors of Argus Media Limited from 2005 until 2016. Since 2006, Euan has led the Argus management team in the Americas, expanding the reach of offices and breadth of services. He joined Argus in 1996, initially as a specialist on the Russian oil and gas industries. From 2000, Euan served as Argus’ Executive Editor, based in London, where he developed Argus’ LNG coverage and other areas of the global gas and power portfolio. In the early nineties, Euan worked in business journalism in Moscow, initially at the first post-Soviet business newspaper, Kommersant, then at the English-language Moscow Times. He was later awarded a fellowship at the Centre for Economic Performance of the London School of Economics.

Stephen Jones is Senior Vice President of Oil Markets Strategy at Argus and is based in Houston. Stephen leads engagements with industry stakeholders on strategic matters related to market fundamentals, regulatory developments, and price factors across the petroleum sectors. Stephen joined Argus in 2017 as the manager of the Americas Oil Markets Business Development team and became the Global Head of Oil Products in 2018 where he was responsible for Argus pricing solutions for the rapidly changing trading requirements for gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, marine fuels, base oils, asphalt, refinery feedstocks and biofuels markets. Stephen has expertise in all aspects of the energy business, having served clients for 34 years in the industry. Prior to Argus, Stephen was with Purvin & Gertz and IHS Markit for 17 years where he was Vice President of the Refining & Marketing team. He has been an instrumental leader for large international teams, providing research and consulting services to clients in the upstream, crude oil markets, refining, natural gas liquids, chemicals, automotive, maritime, and midstream businesses. While at IHS Markit, Stephen was charged with leading the Energy Product Management team and the integration of the legacy PFC Energy, Purvin & Gertz, and CERA market analytical subscription services. Stephen began his career in the energy business with Exxon at the world-class Baton Rouge Refinery where he advanced through a variety of technical support, business planning, engineering supervision, and operations management positions. He then held positions in Exxon’s Refining Headquarters and Supply & Trading teams in Houston where he gained expertise in crude oil trading, refinery optimization and energy market economics. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tulane University.

Vanessa Viola is the Senior Vice-President of Latin America at Argus. Vanessa initially joined Argus in 2001, working as Deputy Editor of the Argus European Products report and Editor of the Argus International LPG report before leaving in 2005 to work as an LPG broker with Gibson in London. Prior to her assignments in the UK, Vanessa worked as a political and financial correspondent for Reuters (Brasilia, Sao Paulo), as a financial reporter for Brazil’s leading news agency Agencia Estado and as a press relations officer with energy engineering company Asea Brown Boveri, also based in Sao Paulo. A graduate from Brazil’s Casper Libero University with a BA in social communications, Vanessa has a master’s degree in international journalism from London’s City University. In addition to Portuguese and English, she is fluent in Spanish.

Alex Younevitch is the Global Head of Freight at Argus, responsible for the strategy, editorial coverage, market engagement and adoption of Freight & Transportation services at Argus Media. Prior to joining Argus in February 2020, Alex was head of EMEA shipping at S&P Global Platts, overseeing over 100 of daily freight assessments and three daily publications. He drove the rapid expansion of the Platts freight portfolio in the tankers, dry bulk and container markets. Alex previously worked as a tanker broker at Gibson Shipbrokers. Alex has a 1st class BA Honours degree in International Supply Chain and Shipping Management from the University of Plymouth.
