He has many years of experience in senior management positions in investment banking at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. In addition, he has prior experience in marketing and client management in Singapore, Jakarta and Madrid.

Yoshinobu Kusano joined RENOVA as Executive Advisor in 2017. From January 2018 he has been Head of Fuel Procurement Group, Biomass Energy of RENOVA. Before joining RENOVA, he worked for Sumitomo Corporation head office in Overseas Transport Division, Living & Material Division, as well as Pulp & Paper Division. During that period, he has been involved in start-up of overseas plantation forest management and operation joint venture as Director. Vaughan is a Senior Vice President of Pinnacle Renewable Energy Inc. based in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he is responsible for the commercial, logistics and sustainability activities of the company. He leads the business development into new markets, where current activity is focused on Asia. Vaughan is a Director of the Wood Pellet Association of Canada, where he is serving as President. In this role he has represented the Canadian wood pellet producers many times in international forums throughout the world. Vaughan is a Director of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters association and is currently serving as its BC Division Chairman. Vaughan is also a Director of the London based Sustainable Biomass Program Ltd (SBP).

Following a 2 year contract with a startup pulp and paper project in Malaysia, Mr. Gardner worked for Pöyry Forest Industry Consulting for 12 years, most recently in their Singapore office as Vice President and then President for the Asia Pacific region. In 2009, Mr. Gardner joined Global Forest Partners and is currently Director of Asian and African Investments. Mr. Gardner is responsible for new deal sourcing throughout Asia and Africa. He is also responsible for developing GFP’s carbon and bio-energy strategies.

Michael Wild, economist and engineer by education, is active in renewable energies for practically his entire 26 years professional career. He has pioneered Biomass fired district heating systems in Austria and conversion of coal fired systems to biomass in former socialist countries. The first internet based biomass trading platform (ABEX) was started by him in 1999. Until 2010 he led the international biomass trading company EBES creating numerous intercontinental supply chains for palm kernel shell, pellets and wood chips. From 2007 he took a leading position in torrefaction technology development forming also a consortium with Andritz AG. In 2012 he helped setting up within AEBIOM the International Biomass Torrefaction Council IBTC whose members elected him president. Also from 2012 on he has been supporting Bridgewell Resources Ltd in developing their Biomass desk acting as their European Sales Manger.
