Peter Schild is Proman’s Director of Marine Fuels, leading Proman’s work along the full length of the clean shipping supply chain. Peter is also Chairman of the Methanol Institute Marine Fuels Committee. Peter has worked for the Proman family of companies since 1992. As a mechanical engineer and Project Manager, he has overseen a number of Proman’s world-scale methanol and ammonia plants, including the construction and commissioning of the then world’s largest methanol plant, M5000 in Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to taking up his current role, Peter was Project Management Director in Proman’s Dusseldorf office, responsible for acquisition and project development work for Proman projects around the world. Peter Keller is the chairman of SEA-LNG, a multi-sector industry coalition established to demonstrate the benefits of the LNG fuel pathway for shipping’s decarbonisation. Until 2018, Peter was executive vice president at TOTE, and led the conversion of the company’s fleet to LNG. Prior to this, between 2000 - 2010, Mr. Keller was EVP and Chief Operating Officer of NYK Group Americas, Inc. and a member of the Governing Board of NYK in Tokyo. Mr. Keller was also a member of the Board of Directors of PMA, the PMSA, and USMX. He served for many years as Chairman of OCEMA. He was a founder of the Coalition for Responsible Transportation (CRT), now an Industry wide organization committed to environmentally responsible practices across the supply chain. Jakob Krummenacher, Director of Clean Energy at LSB Industries, leads the clean energy strategy, which includes driving initiatives to lower the company carbon footprint, improving environmental sustainability, and developing markets for future low carbon products, like using ammonia as a fuel in marine applications and power generation. Mr. Krummenacher has over 17 years of experience in the energy and chemical industry, most recently with CF Industries where he was an integral part of the Clean Energy Solutions team. Michael is the Director of Business Development for Centerline Logistics based in Seattle. Centerline operates a large fleet of tank barges that provides bunkering services, terminal transportation, fuel deliveries and fuel distribution. Their operations cover the East Coast, Gulf Coast, Caribbean, West Coast, Hawaii, and Alaska. Michael’s career spans over 40 years in the marine transportation industry including sailing as crew and master delivering supplies, equipment, and fuel throughout coastal Alaska; and more recently senior management positions with P&L responsibilities. Prior to Centerline Michael lived in Anchorage and served as a VP of a fuel distribution company which operated 9 fuel terminals throughout Alaska utilizing a fleet of trucks and barges to supply coastal towns and communities throughout the state. Prior to that he was the head of the Pacific Division for what is now Kirby Offshore in Seattle. At that time Kirby operated the largest fleet of tank barges on the west coast. Earlier in his career he accepted the General Manager position for a transportation company headquartered in Saipan - CNMI. Once he realized that the tropics are better suited for holidays than for occupations, a relocation back to the PNW brought more adventure, including salvage operations, and the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company which also become the largest petroleum barge operator on the west coast. Yousef graduated from Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities with a B.Eng (Hons) degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, before embarking on career at sea as a Marine Engineer on refrigerated cargo vessels and cruise ships sailing up to the position of 2nd Engineer before coming ashore. Yousef started his CSL career as a Marine Systems Designer where his primary role was to seek new technologies and provide oversight to optimise CSL’s fleet. In 2014, Yousef accepted a position as Superintendent for CSL, where he was responsible for managing several of the company’s ships, making sure that they operated at peak efficiency and complied with all environmental regulations. In January 2018, Yousef headed the development of CSL’s Innovation Research and Development team and took on the role of Naval Architect with a focus on improving safety and reducing CSL’s environmental footprint.
