Korea Battery Industry Association

The Korea Battery Industry Association (KBIA) is a nonprofit organization approved by government and was officially launched on November 1st, 2011, with the goal of raising public awareness of the battery industry as a single industrial entity and securing national competitiveness in the sector. KBIA has 67 members up to the date in 2019 including LG Chem, Samsung SDI, SK Innovation and the President is Jonghyun Kim, who is President of LG Chem. Every year, KBIA organizes Interbattery (exhibition) and the Battery Conference which are the biggest battery event in Korea.
