Nicola Williams is a Director at Clarksons Platou, the world’s largest shipping services provider. Nicola joined Clarksons in 1995, where she initially worked as a Tanker Analyst within Clarksons Research. Since joining the gas division in 1999, she has been responsible for analysis of market fundamentals and freight across all sectors of the gas carrier fleet, LPG, ammonia and petrochemical gas markets. Nicola’s responsibilities include preparing performance and benchmarking reviews, business development, market analysis, consultancy and logistics strategy evaluation. Nicola speaks regularly at international LPG, ammonia and petrochemical conferences and workshops and has been a guest lecturer for the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and Regent’s University London. She has a postgraduate degree in the politics and economics of developing economies from Cambridge University.

James Rockall is the CEO & Managing Director of the World LPG Association (WLPGA). Based in Paris, he has full responsibility for legal, financial, operational, strategic, governance and performance-related aspects of the organisation with customers operating in more than 125 countries around the world. Mr Rockall has 25 years of global experience in the energy sector. He has a very strong energy and business development background having worked for Shell International in senior management positions in The Netherlands and Venezuela. Prior to joining the WLPGA in July 2003, James worked for two years as a Director of the global energy group ALSTOM SA. He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with a Master’s degree with Honours from the University of Nottingham in the UK and an MBA from the Institute of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.
