Prior to Argus, Allen covered financial markets and commodities in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a financial wire service and began his career working as a paramedic in Connecticut before turning his hand to journalism. Mr. Chandra’s operating, consulting and management experience includes working at Amoco, Purvin & Gertz, Hess and NextEra Energy Resources prior to joining Muse Stancil. Mr. Chandra has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Houston. He also keeps our power indexes and editorial coverage of the gas industry in north america on track. He joined argus in june of this 2009 after spending three and a half years at hart energy publishing as group publisher for newsletters. He has also been vice president of market information at io energy, now snl energy. David was senior electricity correspondent at the wire service bridgenews. For most of the 1990s, he worked at gas daily and megawatt daily, becoming managing editor for price surveys. He has written a book about hedging in natural gas markets and edited a book on biofuels, is a frequent speaker on energy topics.
