Incorporated in Malaysia on 21st April 2003, Kemaman Bitumen Company Sdn Bhd (KBC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tipco Asphalt Group of Companies. KBC’s one-of-its-kind refinery in the entire south-east Asia is designed to process heavy Naphthenic Crude Oils. Located at Kemaman on the east coast of peninsular Malaysia, this Asphalt focused refinery is licensed to process 50,000 bbls of crude oil per day and produces high quality Naphthenic Asphalt, Atmospheric Gas Oil (AGO), Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO) and Naphtha.
