India's MCF restarts ammonia, urea plant

Singapore, 12 June (Argus) — Indian fertilizer and chemicals firm Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers (MCF) has restarted its ammonia and urea production units, following a seven-week shutdown for maintenance.

The 218,000 t/yr ammonia and 380,000 t/yr urea facility came off line on 25 April for annual maintenance. The shutdown had a limited impact on the market.

MCF is a subsidiary of Zuari Fertilisers and Chemicals, an Adventz group company.
