Kayode is a passionate and driven professional with a background in finance and accounting. He obtained a BSc in finance and accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 2008, and a Master’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Human Relations from Oklahoma City University and the University of Oklahoma, respectively, in 2011, both with distinctions. Over the past decade, Kayode has garnered financial and project management experience from various companies such as Finley and Cook CPA (US), 960 Group (a subsidiary of Verod Capital), Lekki Free Trade Zone, BGL and Aristokrat 360. Alan Hayes has 15 yrs of experience working in commodities. His previous experience includes working for the European Commission conducting Europe wide research on the petrochemical markets. Mr. Justice O. Derefaka is a Marine Engineering graduate from the Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt. He has a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Lagos (Unilag) and a second master’s degree in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom (UK). He is also doctoral research scholar rounding up his study at the university of Bradford, United Kingdom. He is currently the Technical Adviser (TA) on Gas Business & Policy Implementation to the Honorable Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources (MPR). In this role, he drives the National Gas Policy implementation built on the policy goals of the Federal Government for the gas sector vis-à-vis removing the barriers affecting investment & development of the gas sector; the delivery of critical gas infrastructure and the overall vision to be an attractive gas-based industrial nation as well as giving primary attention to meeting local gas demand requirements, developing a significant presence in international markets and to move Nigeria from a crude oil export-based economy to an attractive gas-based industrial economy. Dr Onyemechi is an accomplished academic with over 80 published works covering Maritime Management Technology, most of which have been presented at academic and industry-based conferences. Dr Onyemechi became a Senior Lecturer in 2012 and Reader in the professorial cadre Maritime Management Technology in 2015. He became a member of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping in 1990 and the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers in 2008. He was appointed Acting Head of Department of the Department of Maritime Management Technology, an office he assumed in July 2016 to 2017. She is also Co-founder and Co-ordinator of the Gas to Health Initiative (GTHI), a non-governmental organisation that promotes LPG awareness. Betty champions a GTHI project that has already seen over 5,000 food stall vendors switching from using firewood for cooking to cleaner-burning and healthier LPG. She is the author of several books.
