The Bioenergy Association represents its members based in New Zealand and Australia. We provide assistance and a wealth of bioenergy information to support members' business and promote their expertise and capabilities for undertaking activities in the New Zealand, SE Asia, Australian and the Pacific market with regards to bioenergy related solutions. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in bioenergy. Our members include land and forestry owners, wood processors, feedstock suppliers, waste managers, fuel and energy suppliers, equipment supplies, manufacturers, consultants, contractors, energy researchers, educators, regulators and investors. We advocate to Government on bioenergy related policy, develop best practice Technical Guides for New Zealand and Australia, host workshops and webinars and assist potential investors in bioenergy based solutions to assess technologies, market opportunities and market risks. The Bioenergy Association has three special topic interest group websites for promoting the experience and capabilities of its members. Japan Woody Bioenergy Association, JWBA, is an organization that aims to expand the appropriate use of woody bioenergy. To achieve our mission, JWBA cooperates with related businesses and parties and shares wisdom and information to promote the use of wood biomass energy strategically and comprehensively at an all-Japan level.
Korea Forest Biomass Energy Association (KFBEA) was formed in 2009 to revitalise Korea's forest biomass energy industry. The association is engaged in various tasks such as R&D, pellet supply, and utilisation of forest biomass. As South Korea’s leading industry association for woody biomass, its members include pellet makers, pellet boiler companies, plant equipment, traders, research institutes, and inspection institutes.
VIFORES was established in 2000 to converge Vietnamese wood processing and trading enterprises. It has over 1000 enterprise members, including most of larger Vietnamese wood and non-wood business entities and certain number of FDI companies. As Vietnam emerging as one of the top wood product exporters worldwide, VIFORES strives to promote responsible wood processing and trading amongst its members, and represents Vietnamese wood industry sector in different initiatives/processes towards sustainable forest management.
