Andrej represents INA-Industrija Nafte, a mid-size oil and gas company based in Zagreb, Croatia with two refineries and a significant retail network and wholesale activity in Croatia and neighbouring countries, as well as strong domestic and foreign upstream operations. He has worked at INA since 2003, holding several managerial roles, mainly focusing on sales and the supply of crude oil products and feedstocks. Andrej started his career in the LPG sector, covering the whole value chain and being responsible for overall domestic and exports sales and supply. He then became the head of supply and sales for all products and feedstocks in export markets. The main products traded are gasoline, gasoil, fuel oils and LPG. Andrej has strong expertise in sales and negotiations, as well as in the establishment and development of new markets.

During his career Zlatko has led a number of projects on distribution optimisation, through which he has gained downstream experience. Additional participation on internal downstream educations has enabled him to prove his excellence in the oil and gas downstream field. In his current position, Zlatko leads a number of projects aimed at developing the LPG value chain with a focus on customers, enabling a long-term perspective for sustainability and growth. Zlatko has a master’s in aerospace engineering and an MBA in general management.

Ditecpesa Asphalt Products is one of the key companies in Spain’s bitumen market, making and selling polymer modified bitumen and bitumen emulsions. Javier began his career in Ditecpesa’s technical department in 1997, and subsequently worked in its industrial, financial and commercial departments before taking on his current role. He has helped manage Ferrovial’s asphalt product purchases for projects throughout the world, focusing on the technological development of pavements and associated environmental concerns. As well as having in-depth knowledge of bitumen terminals, polymer modified bitumen and emulsion plants, Javier is also a specialist in climate change, content strategy and industrial health and safety.

Chris Judge is Vice-President for Products at the Argus head office in London. He is responsible for the development of market-appropriate price assessments, methodologies and editorial training and development. Chris was previously editor of the daily European Products report, which publishes price assessments used in physical and derivative indexation for the European gasoline markets, among others. Chris graduated in English literature at the University of Kent. Before joining Argus, Chris worked for other media organisations, including energy price reporting service Platts, where he headed up the European products team in London, before moving to New York to manage the coverage of US markets.

He is in charge of the Alphatanker Shipping Monitor, a publication that covers crude and clean tanker markets in terms of fleet supply, freight rates, new building, ordering activity, demolition, tanker FFA and S&P activity. He has been quoted on newswires and been a speaker on tanker and oil markets at international conferences. Before joining BRS in 2017, he had experience in the private sector in Ecuador and diplomatic experience in South Korea. He holds a master’s degree from the Dauphine University in Paris, France and is currently pursuing a diploma in advanced studies in commodity trading at the University of Geneva, Switzerland.

Lloyd Thomas is Senior Vice-President, Consulting Services, based in our London office. Lloyd joined Argus in 2011 as Head of European Consulting and has been instrumental in the development and expansion of the consulting division. He was promoted to Global Head of Consulting in 2017. He has been closely involved in the majority of Consulting projects conducted within Europe, including a large number related to the storage industry. These have helped to define new strategies for existing assets, supported investment cases for new assets and provided assurance around acquisitions and divestment's. Prior to joining Argus, Lloyd led the global research and advisory team at Energy Intelligence Group. Earlier in his career, he spent over 11 years as a management and strategy consultant in the energy practices at Deloitte and Ernst & Young. During this time he worked with a wide range of energy, utilities and infrastructure clients, helping to deliver strategy, performance improvement and large-scale capital programmes.

Filip Masquillier is a Senior Supply Chain Executive with experience in the global midstream, NGL and petrochemical markets. His career in international logistics began at the Antwerp Port Authority in 1997, where he worked with private industry to attract more midstream and chemical cargoes to the port. The port managed to relocate two key customers with additional annual volumes of 1.2 million tons shipped to the Port of Antwerp, putting the facility firmly on the map for liquid logistics. Filip joined Stolt-Nielsen in 2005 and, in various roles, was instrumental in building out the Stolthaven Terminals network, including forming a successful joint venture with Oiltanking in Antwerp, marketing two newbuild terminals in China and growing Stolthaven Terminals’ assets in the US with more than 60 newbuild tanks in Houston and New Orleans. Filip joined Kinder Morgan Terminals in 2015 and oversaw commercial and business development efforts for Kinder Morgan’s 6.8 million cubic meter storage footprint on the Houston Ship Channel. He was able to add new customers and commissioned various NGL and midstream projects, adding to Kinder Morgan’s position as the largest tank storage provider in the US. Filip currently runs an independent consulting service for parties interested in NGL, midstream and chemical logistics in the US and worldwide. Filip holds an MBA from Tulane University in New Orleans, and an economics graduate degree from Antwerp University, Belgium. He currently lives in Houston.
