IETA is the voice of business on market-based climate solutions and carbon markets around the world. Established in 1999, IETA is a non-profit international business organisation. IETA's mission is to empower business to engage in climate action, advancing the objectives of the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement as informed by IPCC science, and establish effective market-based trading systems for GHG emissions and removals that are environmentally robust, fair, open, efficient, accountable and consistent across national boundaries.
