Anthony Tse has over 20 years of corporate private and public company experience in numerous high-growth industries including the TMT sectors and resource & commodities – primarily in senior management, corporate finance and M&A roles across Greater China and Asia Pacific region. He was appointed Managing Director and CEO of Galaxy Resources in June of 2013 and was responsible for leading the corporate turnaround, which has across three years, involved over A$500M of debt restructuring, refinancing and divestments. This was followed with the restart of production at its Mt Cattlin Lithium Project in Australia, and the Company is also now pushing ahead on its initiatives to advance development of it’s flagship Sal de Vida Lithium Brine Project in Argentina, as well as its James Bay Lithium Pegmatite Project in Canada – all of which have well positioned Galaxy to become the leading pure play lithium company globally.

With over 25 years’ experience in the commodities industry as a trader, researcher, consultant and company executive, Mark has a wealth of experience in the metals sector. After gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in European Business Administration, as well as a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Européennes de Management, Mark spent three years as a sugar trader with Louis Dreyfus, a leading global soft commodities company. The next 20 years were spent at Roskill Information Services, a leader in international metals and minerals research. In January 2001, Mark was appointed a director at Roskill and in December 2010 became the Managing Director of the company. Prior to joining Argus, he ran his own metals consulting company, Tungsten Market Research.

Responsible for driving the Group’s responsibility agenda worldwide, James’ focus has included developing the company’s leadership positon on transparency and stakeholder engagement in the commodity trading sector. In 2015, Trafigura became the first privately owned commodities trader to release an annual Corporate Responsibility report and to disclose payments to governments for oil in accordance with the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative standard. More recently, James has led Trafigura’s efforts in pursuit of the responsible sourcing of metals and minerals and, more widely, the assimilation by Trafigura of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. James graduated from Lancaster University with a BA (Hons) in Management and Organisation Studies before joining De Beers as a management trainee in 2001.
