Our full-day training workshop equipped stakeholders across affected sectors with the insights and tools needed to navigate the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). With critical updates from the European Commission expected by December, this training day took place at a pivotal moment for businesses preparing for the next phase of CBAM implementation.
Rotterdam served as a practical and accessible location for the training, offering excellent transport links and proximity to key industrial hubs affected by CBAM. Its central role in European trade and logistics made it an ideal setting for cross-sector collaboration and discussion.
Building on Argus' successful CBAM webinar series, this in-person training day expanded on key themes and questions raised by participants, offering deeper sectoral insights and practical guidance. As CBAM moves toward its definitive phase in 2026 and certificate purchasing begins in 2027, understanding the evolving regulatory landscape remains essential. This workshop provided a timely opportunity to:
