Irina has over 9 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to Argus, Irina was heading the European gas events portfolio of Fleming Group. Irina has an MSc in Energy, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School and wrote her master’s thesis together with Gazprom Marketing & Trading on small-scale LNG.

Tony is a seasoned sales professional with good experience in the asphalt industry. He currently serves as sales manager at Chambroad (Hainan) Advanced Material where his responsibility includes driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s customer base.

Director of Shipping Operations & Head of Bulk Bitumen (M.East, India, Africa), Richmond Mercantile Ltd

Allen joined the Richmond Group in 1999 and is director of shipping operations and head of bulk bitumen for the Middle East, India and Africa region. He is not only responsible for the commercial management of bitumen tankers operated by the group and in-chartered tonnage, but also coordinates and supports the group’s bulk bitumen trading and supply operations across southeast Asia, Australia, India and the Middle East. Prior to joining Richmond, Allen worked as a general manager at marine surveying companies such as Keppel Sea Scan and ITS Caleb Brett.

Jon has worked in the bitumen industry for nearly 10 years. He started off establishing supply and logistics operations in the region of west Africa, and now at TEC as an equipment and solutions provider, helping customers to overcome challenges in Africa, southeast Asia, Europe, Australia and the Middle East. TEC has since become the market leader in bitumen container supply, especially following the success of the BitutainerTM range.

Leticia leads technical business development and manufacturing operations for Sustainable Road Solutions. She previously held senior operational roles with Ferrovial, leading pavement design and construction for major infrastructure projects in Europe, the US, Canada and South America. She works closely with engineering and regulatory bodies throughout the Middle East, providing technical support and thought leadership.

Indra has many years of experience in Indonesia’s oil and gas industry. Starting in general oil and gas supplies, he progressed to importing drum bitumen from the Middle East. His company, PT Kiprah Multi Sarana, specialises in supplying bulk bitumen to the Indonesian market, with a focus on the Sumatra region.

Vandana Hari
Chief Executive, Vanda Insights

Vandana is an energy markets analyst and thought leader with nearly 30 years of experience. She founded Vanda Insights, which provides macroanalysis of the global oil markets, and has previously served in leadership roles at information agencies. She is a columnist for financial newspaper Nikkei Asian and a regular market commentator, and she conducts bespoke training for energy sector stakeholders on commodity markets operations.

Dr. Vo Dai Tu is working at BMT Group in the Research & Development Department. He is a member of various science organisations such as Aviation Science and Technology Institute, Vietnam Association on Aviation Science and Technology, and University of Transport Technology. Dr. Vo Dai Tu is the first person to develop the concept “Anti-rutting Asphalt” in Vietnam. He is the also the writer of Vietnamese specifications for Hot Mix Asphalt Recycling, and specifications for HMA using recycle polyethylene as an additive.

Tarique Kamal has 18 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on road construction and bitumen ventures. He is the founder of Petrozo Energy – the UAE’s second-largest oil and gas supplier. He is now leading his company to diversify and expand into different geographical regions.

Leanne is an editor at Argus Media covering the bitumen market. (MOPL). being well known for the import of high-quality Iraqi bitumen to the Indian market. Looking ahead, the company has ambitious plans to extend its reach into South-East Asia, leveraging its core expertise in sourcing, logistics and quality management.

Bohan is an editorial manager in the Argus Singapore office who oversees the bitumen and petrochemical desks. Bohan joined Argus in 2013, with most of his experience having been in petrochemicals. Before joining Argus, Bohan worked at ICIS and Reuters from 2008-12 covering petrochemicals and oil products forward curves.

Jonathan Weston is the editor of the Argus Bitumen Report, which was launched in January 2015 to cover bitumen markets in Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Mideast Gulf. Jonathan also manages the speciality products team at Argus, which covers bitumen, base oils, bunker fuels and waxes. Jonathan previously covered crude oil markets for Argus and before that worked as a stockbroker and newspaper journalist.
