East Europe

Russian sulphur suppliers GazpromExport/Austrofin are still locked in price negotiations with its customers for third-quarter deliveries. A conclusion is expected by the end of this week.

Deliveries out of the Black Sea have met with challenges this summer because of the low water level at the Volga-Don river system. The water level is reported to be half of the usual level, and as a result sulphur supplier Austrofin has lost around 30pc of its obligated deliveries.
