Sri Lanka issues tender to buy urea, TSP, MOP

Sri Lankan state-owned firms Ceylon Fertilizer and Colombo Commercial Fertilizers have issued a tender to buy urea, TSP and MOP closing on 26 July.

The combined tender requests 38,500t of granular urea, 7,500t of TSP and 20,000t of MOP to be delivered to Colombo during October, or within 42 days of the letter of credit being opened.

The Sri Lankan government recently awarded its 3 July tender to buy TSP to Asia-Pacific trading firm Swiss Singapore at $334.10/t cfr with 180 days' credit. It awarded the urea tender to Agri-Commodities at $305/t cfr sight for the granular urea and $325/t cfr sight for the prilled urea.
