Bangladesh's state-owned BCIC closed a tender today to buy 100,000t of prilled urea for Mongla and 100,000t of granular urea for Chittagong.
It received six offers for prilled urea as follows. The prices are in $/t cfrlo bagged:
- Agro Industrial Input/Wilson International 25,000t ex-China at $365.87/t
- Hydrocarbon 25,000t ex-China or Indonesia at $365.90/t
- Swiss Singapore 25,000t ex-China at $366.60/t
- Aries 25,000t ex-China at $370.19/t
- Bulktrade 25,000t ex-China or Indonesia at $372.80/t
- Posco Daewoo 25,000t ex-China at $376.50/t
BCIC received six offers for granular urea as follows, with prices also in $/t cfrlo bagged:
- Hydrocarbon 25,000t ex-China or Egypt at $365.90/t
- Aries 25,000t ex-China at $369.19/t
- Swiss Singapore 25,000t ex-China at $370.10/t
- Bulktrade 25,000t ex-China or Egypt at $372.80/t
- Posco Daewoo 25,000t ex-China or Vietnam at $375.20/t
- Dragon Asia 25,000t ex-China at $376.00/t
The tender documents specify shipment within 25 days of l/cs being issued for 25,000t lots, or within 35-45 days for quantities above 25,000t.
