Nitrogen: Urea tenders in Bangladesh and Indonesia

New tenders to buy and sell urea have been issued in Bangladesh and Indonesia respectively.

In Indonesia, producer Pupuk Kaltim will hold a tender on 12 December to sell 30,000t of granular urea for December shipment from Bontang. Traders believe that Kaltim could have additional urea to sell.

Bangladeshi agency BCIC has issued new tenders, closing on 20 November, to buy 25,000t each of prilled and granular urea.

Delivery is requested at Chittagong port for granular and Mongla port for prilled urea. Cargoes are to be delivered within 28 days of the opening of the letters of credit.

BCIC last held a tender to buy 25,000t each of granular and prilled urea on 7 November.

The lowest offers were by Hydrocarbon/Gentrade at $378.70/t cfrlo for granular urea and Agro Industrial/Wilson at $379.87/t cfrlo for prilled urea respectively.
