Automotive fluids manufacturer and distributor Old World Industries (OWI) has acquired the global diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and automotive grade urea (AGU) business and assets of Colorado-based fertilizer distributor Dasco, the companies said today.
Under the agreement OWI will begin servicing Dasco's DEF customers and working with its DEF and AGU suppliers.
"The acquisition of Dasco's DEF and AGU business expands OWI's reach and capabilities to meet the needs of our customers and consumers in this growing category," OWI chief executive Charles Culverhouse said.
