Three additional tankers carrying Qatari LNG are expected at the UK's Milford Haven port, while a Russian cargo could be delivered to the 14.8mn t/yr Isle of Grain facility later this week.

Two tankers — the 216,200m³ Al Hamla and the 217,000m³ Al Kharsaah — have been scheduled for arrival at the 15.6mn t/yr South Hook terminal with Qatari LNG on 15 June. The vessels cast off from the Ras Laffan liquefaction complex on 3 June and 29 May, respectively.

And the 266,000m³ Bu Samra this morning declared expected arrival at Milford Haven for 19 June.

Two LNG terminals are located in the Milford Haven port — South Hook and the 4mn t/yr Dragon terminal. But the Bu Samra can only unload its cargo at South Hook as Dragon cannot accommodate Q-Max vessels.

Two other cargoes were previously scheduled to arrive at South Hook this week — the 210,100m³ Al Nuaman on 10 June and the 266,000m³ Al Mayeda on 13 June.

South Hook has an agreement with Qatargas to receive cargoes that can not secure a more profitable destination.

The terminal's regasification was nominated at 42.7mn m³ today, up from 42.4mn m³ yesterday and 37.4mn m³/d earlier in the month. Sendout may have stepped up in order to vacate sufficient space for upcoming deliveries.

A Russian cargo has also been booked for delivery to the UK later this week. The 172,600m³ Rudolf Samoylovich has declared for Isle of Grain and is expected to arrive on 12 June. This would be the first cargo delivered to the terminal since 12 May, when the 148,500m³ LNG Imo unloaded a Nigerian cargo.
