France's regulated 6mn t/yr Fos Cavaou LNG facility expects September receipts to be in line with recent-year averages, based on its provisional schedule.

Fos Cavaou has lined up five deliveries for September, up slightly from the three-year average of 4.6, but well below the eight received in September 2019.

France's other regulated terminals — the 7.25mn t/yr Montoir and 2.2mn t/yr Fos Tonkin — published provisional September schedules in late June. They anticipate a combined 11 deliveries, with receipts above the three-year average for the month at both terminals.

Combined deliveries at France's regulated terminals are expected to accelerate from recent years in the coming months after a slump in June. Montoir, Fos Cavaou and Fos Tonkin expect 32 deliveries in July-August, according to the latest schedules, up from the three-year average for the period of 26.3.

Overall French LNG sendout slipped last month as a result of slow receipts. But an influx of LNG could lift regasification this quarter and curb pipeline imports, especially as high inventories will limit injection demand.
