Brazilian pipeline company TBG sold all of the 2022 natural gas transportation capacity on its line from the Bolivian border to São Paulo state to Petrobras.

State-run Petrobras requested 19.7mn m³/d injection volumes and 17.7mn m³/d of withdrawal volumes from TBG in an open season offer, the result of the extraordinary capacity offer made by TBG for 2022. Under Brazil's new pricing model for gas transportation, gas shippers must sign contracts both for volumes injected and withdrawn.

Another open season for continuous gas transportation on the TBG system is open and must be closed by March 2022, according to oil and gas regulator ANP.

The gas entry points for Petrobras are the Corumbá station — the first station on the Brazilian side of the border from Bolivia — with 14 mn m³/d, and Campinas city in São Paulo state for 5.7mn m³/d. The exit points are located in São Paulo, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul states.
