AdBlue bulk prices in northern and southern Germany for March have fallen by 8-9pc on the week, based on early indications, reflecting lower urea values. But the drop was checked by high natural gas prices and uncertainty over the outlook for them.
Argus most recently assessed AdBlue bulk prices at €40.55/100l fot north Germany and €37.75/100l fot south Germany, on 25 February.
Most suppliers have stated that these new quotations are only valid for 1-14 March, citing uncertainty over gas prices because of the fighting in Ukraine. This is a shorter validity period than offered in February, when most suppliers' offers were valid for the full calendar month.
